The Minglewood Distilling Company was born from a deep-rooted passion for distilling and a desire to preserve the rich heritage of the historic Minglewood Coal & Ice Co. building. Our story begins with the vision of a father-and-son duo who set out to transform the once-dilapidated building into a modern craft distillery and tasting room, all while honoring the traditions of Wayne County, Ohio.

Our Journey

In the 1880s, James Mullins founded the Minglewood Coal & Ice Co., which faithfully served the local community for nearly a century. The building's legacy continued when we recognized its potential and lovingly refurbished it into the home of the Minglewood Distilling Company.

Today, our dedicated team works tirelessly to create a range of exceptional spirits that pay homage to the region's unique history and the craft of distilling. Our commitment to using locally sourced ingredients from the bountiful farmlands of Wayne County ensures that each bottle of Minglewood spirits captures the essence of our community.
